13-days ago (20-02-2009) V4 Power hit a large B-Road pothole. Without warning, explanation or apology my host of nearly five years ceased hosting, taking down the site and leaving me with no account access. All e-mails for support simply bounced back. Very disappointing to say the least.
So, V4 Power now has a new URL, please update your bookmarks with this page! Unfortunately without access to the old domain I am unable to set up a redirect on the original homepage.
Please help me out by reporting any broken links. An e-mail stating the link the page is on and where it is linking to would be much appreciated.
My new host does limit file sizes, so I have had to compress some of the higher resolution images and split the downloadable Parts List across several ZIP files. Bandwidth has been reduced to 6Gb/Month, although I don’t anticipate this being an issue.
My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Minor update to "About Me". Update to "Contact Me". Quick-Link Bug fixed in 'Maintaining an NC30'. Major work has been carried out across the site to add Firefox (v1.0 and above) Browser Support. Although the main alignment issues have been resolved, some annoyances remain. Underlined regular text blinks, and the 'floating' Quick-Link tabs to the left of pages either do not align correctly, or do not 'float'. Under some conditions they do not do either. This is a Java issue and is something I cannot resolve at this time. The appearance of Tables is basic for Firefox users; however all of the content is now available. Observant returning Internet Explorer users may notice some small cosmetic differences to the site; this is due to compromises that had to be made to add the Firefox support. If you want the best from V4 Power, Internet Explorer 5.0 and above is still strongly recommended!

Minor rework of the Flash Objects on the site. Update to "About Me" and "Protective Clothing"

Visitors using Firefox v2.0 and above may experience viewing problems, although this does seem to be somewhat influenced by individual browser settings. Full Firefox v2.0 browser support will be added at some point in the near future.

My apology's to those of you who have found all of the links within images have been down for the last week or so. I had been experimenting with Hotlink Protection; however it would appear that the original settings disabled hyperlinks to image enlargements within the website too. The problem has now been rectified.

Due to current personal circumstances and the number of e-mails recently received, it may take me a while to answer your questions for the next few months. My sincere apology's for any inconvenience; I will get back to you when I can. Please be patient.
27-01-2007 @ 13:27 ! IMPORTANT !
CONTACT E-MAIL ADDRESS CHANGED- Please now send e-mail to 'contact_v4power@yahoo.co.uk'. I apologise if you have tried to contact me over the last few months, unbeknown to me the previous e-mail account inexplicably stopped working.

Those of you who have visited V4 Power in the past will have noticed that things have changed significantly. The site has undergone a complete rebuild from the ground up. There's no particular reason behind this other than I felt it was time for a change.
Just to reassure everyone, the content is exactly the same as before; nothing has been lost. Most sections have received minor updates. Being a new upload, there may be some teething troubles. I will endeavour to iron these out over the next few weeks. It would be a great help if you could report any bugs, broken links etc that you find. Opinions on the new layout are also welcome!
Welcome to V4Power.co.uk, formerly V4Power.ukonlinehosting.com
This site is dedicated to the third incarnation of Honda's VFR400 range; the NC30. Officially designated
the
VFR400-R3, the NC30 was one of several 400cc bikes
built to fill a
gap in the Japanese market. Officially imported into the UK for just three years; the little V4 came with a £6000 price tag.
This meant it cost only a fraction less than many litre bikes of the time. For this reason, it didn't sell particularly well. Today, UK spec bikes are increasingly
difficult to find,
making them a bit
exclusive. The bike began selling well when the imports started to trickle over.
With a screaming redline of 14,500rpm and a top speed of 140mph, twinned with sharp handling and excellent brakes, the NC30 is quick enough to keep up with higher capacity bikes on the road, and makes a very competent track tool.
The aim of V4 Power is to supply as many NC30 resources in one place as is possible, whilst providing a hub of links to many others. This benefits owners and prospective owners alike, as well as providing a source of general interest for those with a passion for motorcycling. The site is divided into several key sections:
Finally, if you spot anything on the site that you consider to be incorrect, or have a question or comment, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Site Viewing Information
V4 Power uses Macromedia Shockwave Flash components. You need the player installed to view the site correctly, and to navigate. If the title and navigation bars at the top of this page are not visible, and the images in the frame above are blanked out too, then you do not have the Shockwave Player installed. To install it, click the link below. In some instances you may need to change the player's security settings once it has installed. You will be notified of this by the player.
Please also ensure you have Java enabled.
The site is best viewed at a resolution of 1024x768. Visitors with a resolution lower than this (e.g. 800x600), or more obscure widescreen resolutions, may experience problems with aspects of the site.
Visitors using Firefox may experience viewing problems, although this does seem to be somewhat influenced by individual browser settings. Due to a Java issue the 'floating' Quick-Link tabs either do not align correctly or do not 'float'. Under some conditions they do not do either. If you want the best from the site, Internet Explorer 5.0 and above is recommended.
